The Nisula lotion was crafted as a signature scent for the Red Hen soon after they opened in 2024. Alison, the store's owner, helped me channel inspiration I had mulled over for years when she requested a unique citrus and spice lotion. Cardamom is one of my heart fragrances and Finnish Nisu a cherished comfort food. What a joy to craft a cardamom lotion dually named after the Finnish bread AND our home-town. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect way to welcome all these favorites into the Everyday North brand.

This hand and body lotion is suitable for all occasions but is especially helpful through the winter season. Many people love to use it on dry, chapped or cracked skin, and some even use a small amount to help moisten the complexion. Unlike many other hand-whipped lotions, this is truly natural, with no artificial preservatives. It contains grapefruit seed extract, which acts as a natural preservative, along with essential oils and all-natural fragrance. Because of this, a 'use by date' of 12 months from manufacture is labeled on each jar.
